No book in the Old Testament speaks so poignantly and prophetically to the church in this present day and hour as the Book of Ruth. Ruth journeys from a place of hopelessness and great need to a place where favor is given. But she does not stop there. Ruth moves to a place, beyond favor, marked by a new position of intimacy with her redeemer. Along her way, the Lord uses Ruth to show us the way to a deeper level of intimacy with our Redeemer.
