In the book of Exodus chapter 19, Moses goes up the mountain to God. The Lord tells Moses to speak to the people and say this, “If you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be unto Me a peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation for all the earth is mine.” In these modern times of fast paced lives and living on the run, the revelation of being a priest has escaped us. Fathers today focus on providing the material needs of the family and forget the spiritual needs. The belief is that if all the material needs of the family are met everything is going well. That is not true. In days past this was not the case; the father stood in a position of authority where he was a priest unto his family, responsible for imparting to his wife and children Love.
